The RVR now offers, with front-wheel or all-wheel drivetrains, a continuously variable automatic transmission as standard. The optional CVT automatic comes factory standard on versions with all-wheel drive. There are two engines available: a 148-horsepower, 2.0L four cylinder that equips most RVRs, while a 168-horsepower, 2.4L four is offered with AWD. The entry-level versions offer good quality for the price. Updated for 2018, the RVR gets a new infotainment system.
