Back unchanged for 2018, two-wheel-drive versions of the Frontier are powered by a 152-horsepower, 2.5L four cylinder with a five-speed automatic gearbox. The 261-horsepower, 4.0L V6 is optional, but it comes standard on four-wheel-drive versions. With it, you get to choose between a six-speed manual or an optional automatic transmission. Certain configurations of the Frontier can tow up to 6710 pounds (3044 kilograms).
