The Nissan Pathfinder has left its body-on-frame roots behind and graduated from off-road brawler to three-row people mover. The Nissan Pathfinder can handle up to seven passengers with ease, and its new, lighter unibody platform is much smoother and more sedan-like than the previous truck-based model. All versions of the Pathfinder benefit from a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 260 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque, and a continuously-variable automatic transmission handles the shifting duties.
