The Nissan Versa relies on a 109-horsepower, 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine that consumes a mere 6.6 L/100 km highway and 8.6 L/100 km city. A five-speed manual or optional CVT automatic transfer power to the front wheels. A few years ago, the Versa was also offered in a sedan version but that's no longer the case—the hatchback is now the lone configuration.
