The Sky roadster, which is the Pontiac Solstice's non identical twin, has not garnered the success GM wished. Its disappointing design makes it too unpractical and, by extension, inappropriate for daily use. For 2009, the Sky is still available in its basic and RedLine versions, of which the latter gets a 260 horsepower 2.0-litre turbo engine with direct injection. In both cases, a five-speed manual transmission comes standard, while the five-speed automatic is optional.
