Sharing the vast majority of its components with the Toyota GR 86, the Subaru BRZ is all new for 2022. The second generation retains a four-cylinder boxer engine, but displacement is increased from 2.0 litres to 2.4 litres. As a result, the BRZ now generates 228 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. Rear-wheel drive is the way to go, here. Both the standard manual gearbox and optional automatic transmission have six forward gears.
