Subaru Impreza 
The Impreza received a number of upgrades last year, including the new 148-hp 2.0L engine and optional continuously variable transmission. The body and dashboard were also revamped. But the quality of the fit and trim has remained unchanged. Note that the WRX and WRX STI are now considered different models.

- Good road holding, predictable
- The CVT isn't bad
- Manual gearbox available on all trims

- Manual gearbox neither precise nor modern
- Unevenly heated seats
- Not the most spacious trunk (sedan)
