This year, Suzuki has done away with the V6 that once equipped the Grand Vitara. All three trim levels (JX, JLX and JLX-L) are now outfitted with the same engine, a 2.4L 4-cylinder that produces 166 hp and 162 lbs.-ft. of torque. This vehicle still offers AWD factory standard, which – as you’d expect – is very handy in winter. Note that the only gearbox on the menu is a 4-speed automatic.
Pros
- Rigid platform
- Effective AWD
- Good factory-standard equipment
- Reasonable road holding
- Roomy interior
Cons
