The third-generation Prius is available in five versions: basic, Plus, Moonroof, Touring and Technology. Multiple improvements have been made to the hybrid system, including the exhaust heat recirculation system that transfers heat from the exhaust to the engine coolant, which, in turn, warms the oil. The extended range Prius (plug-in) can travel up to 22 km and up to 100 km/h in electric mode.
