The RAV4 hybrid, however, is powered by an Atkinson-cycle, 2.5L four cylinder and an electric motor for a combined output of 194 horsepower. Its average fuel consumption is 7.3 litres per 100 kilometres, according to Toyota. Regardless of the trim level, trunk volume is rated at over 1000 litres, even with the rear seatbacks in place.
