One year after completely redesigning the RAV4, Toyota is adding a TRD Off-Road model similar to the ones we see with larger SUVs and pickups from the Japanese automaker. It boasts a more rugged look, increased ground clearance, as well as a suspension, tires and other components specifically tailored to off-road driving. As we wait for the 2021 RAV4 Plug-in variant, customers can choose between a 203-horsepower gas model and a 219-horsepower RAV4 Hybrid.
Pros
- Spacious cockpit
Cons
- Noisy 2.5L engine
