Completely redesigned this year, the Toyota RAV4 is the most popular SUV in Canada and happens to be built locally. For the first time, no gasoline engines are available. The RAV4 now comes standard with a hybrid powertrain (236 horsepower, average fuel consumption between 5.6-6.1 L/100 km according to Toyota). The Japanese-made RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid (324 horsepower, up to 82 km of electric range) is also back. Towing capacity is 3,500 lbs on most models.
