New and improved TRD Pro models highlight the Tacoma lineup for 2019. They incorporate, among other things, a high-mount desert air intake and an updated TRD skid plate with red logo. You still get to choose between the 2.7-litre four-cylinder engine (159 horsepower) and the 3.5-litre V6 (278 horsepower), the latter capable of towing up to 6500 lbs. (2948 kg). The Tacoma also offers a selection of two drivetrains, two six-speed transmissions, two cabs and two cargo bed lengths.
