The Beetle’s makeover began in 2012 and continues this year with the addition of the Cabriolet. It joins the coupe and uses the same chassis, though it has been reinforced in strategic places. There are three available drivetrains – a 2.5L, a TDI and a 2.0L TSI – along with the possibility of three packages – Comfortline, Highline and Sportline. Depending on the trim you choose, the transmission will be either a five- or six-speed manual. The automatic is optional.
