| Details | On certain 318I vehicles, under certain conditions, the interior heater water control valve may bind while closing. This binding or slow-closing condition may cause the valve solenoid to draw excessive current, possibly resulting in overheating of the valve connector wiring and insulation. This condition could result in a passenger compartment fire. |
