Details | THE GREASE USED TO LUBRICATE THE HEADLAMP SWITCH WAS FORMULATED INCORRECTLY TO CONTAIN SILICONE. ELECTRICAL ARCING DURING SWITCH OPERATION COULD PRODUCE SILICONE OXIDE DEPOSITS WHICH COULD PREVENT THE SWITCH CONTACT POINTS FROM COMPLETELY CLOSING. THIS COULD RESULT IN EITHER DELAYED OR NON-ILLUMINATION OF ONE OF THE HEAD- LIGHTS WHEN THE SWITCH IS TURNED ON OR DURING DIMMER SWITCH OPERATION. . |
