EXTENDED USE FOLLOWED BY EXTREMELY COLD CONDITIONS MAY RESULT IN EXCESSIVE THERMAL SHOCK TO THE CRUISE CONTROL COMPUTER RESULTING IN A POSSIBLE MALFUNCTION.

IN THE WORST CASE MALFUNCTION, SHOULD THE ENGINE BE RE-STARTED WITH THE CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH LEFT IN THE "ON" POSITION, THE ENGINE MAY RACE UNTIL THE CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH OR IGNITION IS TURNED OFF.

IF THE VEHICLE IS PLACED IN GEAR WITH THE ENGINE RACING, UNINTENDED ACCELERATION COULD OCCUR, RESULTING IN A POSSIBLE VEHICLE CRASH.

CORRECTION: CRUISE CONTROL COMPUTER WILL BE REPLACED WITH ONE OF IMPROVED DESIGN.
