Details | THE FOUR (4) STEERING COLUMN SUPPORT BRACKET ATTACHING BOLTS ON THESE VEHICLES MAY HAVE BEEN ASSEMBLED WITH LESS THAN THE SPECIFIED TORQUE. IF THE BOLTS ARE NOT PROPERLY TORQUED, THEY MAY VIBRATE AND BECOME LOOSE OR FALL OUT. IN THE EVENT OF A FRONTAL COLLISION, THIS CONDITION COULD COMPROMISE THE INTEGRITY OF THE STEERING COLUMN AND INCREASE THE POTENTIAL FOR OCCUPANT INJURY. CORRECTION: STEERING COLUMN SUPPORT BRACKET BOLTS WILL BE TORQUED TO THE CORRECT SPECIFICATION. |
