Details | On certain vehicles, the driver seat belt buckle wiring may be damaged by interference with the driver seat cushion height adjuster mechanism. Damaged driver seat belt buckle wiring may cause the seat belt warning lamp and the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) airbag warning lamp to illuminate. It could also cause the airbag fuse to open, preventing airbag deployment and increasing the risk of injury during a collision where deployment is intended. Correction: Dealers will protect the wiring, and if necessary, replace the driver seat belt buckle. |
