| Details | On certain vehicles, the attachment fasteners for the optional side airbags may not have been tightened properly. This could result in an improper side airbag curtain deployment in certain side crash conditions, which can increase the risk of injury to vehicle occupants. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the side airbag curtains and tighten the fasteners to the proper torque specifications. |
