| Details | On certain vehicles, the rear differential left bearing retainer may be cracked due to a manufacturing defect. A cracked retainer can allow oil leakage from the rear differential. With continued use, this can lead to the rear differential gears becoming locked and the vehicle disabled. Correction: Dealers will replace the left-side rear differential retainer. |
