| Details | On certain vehicles equipped with an automatic transmission, the transmission shift lever can be moved from the PARK position with the ignition ON and without the operator depressing the brake pedal or in some cases with the ignition turned to OFF. This situation has the potential for the vehicle to roll/move if the shifter is hit accidentally which could result in a crash causing property damages or personal injuries. Correction: Dealers will replace the pawl stopper and a bushing within the shifter assembly. |
