Details | On certain vehicles, when driving at low speeds or idling on a downward grade, with ¼ tank or less of fuel, an error in the fuel pump control program may restrict fuel supply to the engine, which could cause the engine to stall. Engine stalling would result in lost vehicle propulsion which, in conjunction with traffic and road conditions, and the driver's reactions, could increase the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will reprogram the Engine Control Module. |
