Details | On certain hybrid vehicles, the motor electronics coolant pump may wear out and fail, resulting in a loss of coolant flow and high temperature condition within the motor electronics system. This could result in a partial or full loss of motive power, resulting in a sudden stall-like condition while driving. An engine stall without warning while driving could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Note: Power steering and power braking system function would be unaffected in the event of such an occurrence. |
