| Details | Certain vehicles may fail to comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 212 - Windshield Mounting. The windshields of some vehicles may have been repaired using expired urethane primer. This may result in a windshield bond that does not meet the retention requirements outlined in the standard. As a result, the windshield may not be retained during a vehicle crash, which could increase the risk injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the windshield. |
