Details | On certain vehicles, the electric power steering (EPS) control circuit board may have been contaminated during manufacturing. This could result in an intermittent or permanent sudden loss of power steering assist while driving. Steering control can be maintained, as the vehicle will revert to a manual steering mode, but will require greater driver effort. The sudden change in steering effort may increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will replace the EPS rack and pinion gear assembly. |
