Details | On certain vehicles equipped with 1.4L engines, there may be a software calibration fault in the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) which could cause a delayed throttle response to accelerate or maintain vehicle speed. A loss of vehicle propulsion, in conjunction with traffic and road conditions and the driver’s reactions, could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will reprogram the PCM with revised software. |
