Details | On certain vehicles, the internal self-diagnostic of the airbag control module may interpret vibrations caused by severe road conditions and/or driving on a flat tire as being a system fault. This would disable the airbag system. As a result, the airbags would not deploy in a crash that warrants their deployment, which would increase the risk of injury. Correction: Dealers will update vehicle software. |
