Details | On certain vehicles, water could enter and cause corrosion to the body control module and/or the A-pillar connector of the module. If corrosion were to occur, it may result in one or more malfunction indicator lamps to illuminate, a loss of windshield wiper function, a loss of all exterior lighting, a loss of horn function and inadvertent turn signal activation. These conditions could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install additional sealing protection around the A-pillar sheet metal joint to the HVAC box to prevent water intrusion. |
