Details | On certain vehicles equipped with power windows, liquid can enter the power window switches causing corrosion and lead to a high electrical resistance. This could cause the switch to heat up, smoke or melt, which would increase the risk of fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the driver’s side window switch with a switch that has additional protection against liquid intrusion. |
