Details | On certain vehicles, a crash protection plate was not installed beside the high pressure fuel pump in the engine compartment. In the event of a severe crash, the high pressure fuel pump could become damaged and cause a fuel leak, which in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install the missing crash protection plate. |
