Details | Certain vehicles equipped with LED headlamps may not meet the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 108 - Lighting System and Retroreflective Devices. A production problem may cause the front turn signal lamps to produce pink or violet light, instead of amber, which is contrary to requirements of the standard. This could result in nearby road users being confused by the turn signal lamps flashing a different colour than normal, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the colour of the front turn signals, and replace the LED module if necessary. |
