Details | On one vehicle, an engine software update may have been performed incorrectly, causing diagnostic trouble codes to not be stored when the ignition key is turned off. If a fault was present, this could cause the warning lamp not to light when the engine is next started. This could create a situation where the driver is not provided with important information about vehicle safety systems, which may increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will update the engine software. |
