Details

On certain vehicles, the seat belt tension sensor wiring of the front passenger occupant classification system could fatigue and break over time.

This could result in the front passenger airbag, knee airbag, and passenger seat-mounted side airbag to become deactivated, which in the event of crash, could increase the risk of injury to the occupant.

Correction: To be determined.

Note: If the tension sensor wiring were to break it could cause the airbag warning light and the passenger airbag "OFF" indicator to illuminate.
