Details | Issue: On certain cars, the adaptive high-beam assist system may not function as intended. The camera software may not perform to specifications and automatically lower the light beams when oncoming traffic is detected. Note: The high-beams can be turned off by turning the light switch to “manual light” mode. Safety Risk: If a driver is unable to turn off the high-beams, the increased glare for other traffic could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to take their car to a dealer for a software update for the adaptive high-beam-assist system. |
