Details | Issue: On one truck equipped with a 48-volt auxiliary battery system, the battery terminal connection may be loose. This could cause the connection to overheat and potentially cause a fire. The 48-volt battery is located behind the rear seat. Note: This could occur even if the truck is turned off. Safety Risk: A fire could increase the risk of injury and/or property damage. Corrective Actions: The company will notify the owner by mail. The owner will be instructed to take their truck to a dealer inspect and tighten the 48-volt auxiliary battery connections, as required. |
