Details | Issue: On certain vehicles, the teeth on the timing belt may separate due to a manufacturing issue. This could result in an engine stall. Safety Risk: An engine stall could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to inspect the lot number on the timing belt. If it is within the affected range, the belt will be replaced. Additionally, dealers will inspect the engine for internal damage. |
