| Details | Issue: On certain vehicles, if the front turn signal light fails, the driver would not be alerted by a fast-flashing turn signal indicator. Canadian regulations require this to happen so a driver knows when a turn signal light is not working. Safety Risk: A loss of turn signal function, without a warning to the driver, could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to update the body control module software. |
