Details | Issue: On certain vehicles, the support for the centre-rear head restraint may not be properly welded. This could cause the head restraint to fold down in a rear impact. Safety Risk: A centre-rear head restraint that does not remain in place could increase the risk of an injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: BMW will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to replace the centre-rear head restraint. Owners are advised not to use the centre-rear seating position until the recall repairs are completed. |
