Details | Issue: On certain vehicles, the height adjuster of the front seats may not have been properly welded. As a result, the welds could break in a crash. If this happens, the seat cushions could shift forward and affect the seat belt operation. Safety Risk: A seat belt that does not work as properly in a crash could create an increased risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the height adjuster of the front seats. |
