Details | Issue: On certain vehicles, the electronic stability control (ESC) and antilock brake system (ABS) could turn off due to a software error. If this happens, the vehicle's ESC and ABS warning lights would not turn on. Safety Risk: If a driver is not aware that the ESC and ABS systems are not working, there could be an increased risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to update the Electronic Brake Control Module software. |
