Details | Issue: On certain vehicles, the Pre-Collision Assist System was not programmed correctly. As a result, the Forward Collision Warning, Dynamic Brake Support, and Automatic Emergency Braking features will not work. Note: This recall only affects vehicles with Ford Co-Pilot360, not those with the optional Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist technology. Safety Risk: If the Pre-Collision Assist System does not work properly, it may not detect a frontal crash or reduce its severity. This could create an increased risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to update the vehicle software. |
