| Details | Issue: On certain cars equipped with a 3.3 L T-GDI engine, an engine compartment fire could occur while driving. Kia believes that a fire could start in or near the brake Hydraulic Electronic Control Unit (HECU). Safety Risk: The car could catch fire while driving. Corrective Actions: Kia will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development. |
