| Details | Issue: On a small number of vehicles, there may be a problem with the tension sensor for the front passenger seat belt. As a result, the airbag system may not turn off the passenger airbag when a child seat is installed using the seat belt and the passenger airbag may be enabled when it should be disabled. Safety Risk: An airbag that deploys in front of a child seat could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the front passenger seat belt buckle. |
