| Details | Issue: On certain M2 models, the fuel injectors were installed without a vibration damper. Without this part, vibrations could cause damage to the connection between the fuel line and the fuel rail. This can create the potential for a fuel leak. Safety Risk: A fuel leak in the engine compartment can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: BMW will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the fuel injectors. The injectors and fuel rail will be replaced, if necessary. |
