Issue: On certain vehicles, a problem in the control module for the antilock brake system (ABS) could cause it to short circuit.

Note: This is an expansion of recall 2020-431.

This recall does not affect vehicles equipped with Smart Cruise Control(SCC).

Safety Risk: A short circuit could create a fire risk.

Corrective Actions: Hyundai will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealer to revise the ABS fuse wiring and update the ABS control module, if necessary.

Hyundai recommends that you should park your vehicle outdoors, and away from other vehicles or structures until the recall repairs have been completed.
