| Details | Issue: On certain vehicles, the connector for the engine control module may be missing a sealing pin. As a result, moisture could enter the connector and cause the engine light to turn on and the engine to go in "fail-safe mode". This could also cause the engine to stall while driving. Safety Risk: A loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Audi will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer inspect the connector for the engine control unit and install the sealing pin, if necessary. |
