| Details | Issue: On certain vehicles, the rear brake calipers may not have been assembled correctly. As a result, brake fluid could leak from the rear calipers. This can cause reduced brake performance. A brake fluid leak could also cause a short circuit in the automatic parking brake system. This can cause a brake warning light to turn on in the dash. Safety Risk: Reduced brake performance can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Nissan will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect and replace the rear brake calipers, as necessary. |
