| Details | Issue: On certain vehicles, the screws for the front door hinges may not have been tightened to factory specifications. As a result, the front door hinges may not perform as designed in a crash. Safety Risk: A door hinge that does not perform as designed could increase the risk of an injury after a crash. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect and tighten the screws for the front door hinges, as necessary. |
