| Details | Issue: On certain vehicles, the tire and loading information label lists the wrong cold tire pressures for the front and rear tires. The label incorrectly lists the recommended tire pressure as 220 kPa (32 psi) instead of 250 kPa (36 psi). This could lead you to under inflate the tires. Driving a vehicle with underinflated tires could cause poor handling and/or a tire failure. Note: This recall only affects Trofeo models equipped with optional 21 inch tires. Safety Risk: Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and result in a crash. Corrective Actions: Maserati will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to verify that the tire and loading information label has the correct tire pressures. The label will be replaced, if required. The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) will also be updated to the correct pressure, if necessary. |
